About 15 minutes to the office · Palm Beach County

Last updated September 2026 · Reviewed by Dr. Carol McNamara-Krauss, DC
A car accident doctor for Boca Raton is fifteen minutes south on Federal Highway, just past the Palm Beach County line. Car Accident Doctors Group, the accident-injury practice of Dr. Carol McNamara-Krauss, DC, is at 3320 N Federal Hwy #107 in Lighthouse Point, between Sample Road and Copans Road on US-1. The office is in Broward County, a few minutes south of the Hillsboro Canal that separates Deerfield Beach from Boca.
The county line does not change anything about your care or your coverage. Florida's PIP rules are set by state statute and are the same in Boca Raton as in Lighthouse Point. What Boca patients get by crossing the line is a same-day exam with a chiropractic physician who has 30 years in practice, treatment that starts the first visit, and a file built for personal injury attorneys. Janelle Deal, our case coordinator, has 30 years in Florida PIP claims. Call (754) 342-6479, answered 24/7.
Crash corridors, the nearest ER, and where the claim gets filed
Boca Raton's crashes cluster at the I-95 interchanges on Glades Road, Yamato Road and Palmetto Park Road, and along Glades Road itself between I-95 and the Town Center mall. The Glades and I-95 interchange is the busiest in south Palm Beach County, and the weave between the ramps and the mall entrances produces side-swipes and rear-end chains all day. Federal Highway through downtown near Mizner Park and Palmetto Park Road is a signal-to-signal crawl. Military Trail past the Boca West and Broken Sound entrances and Camino Real near the Boca Raton Resort add the left-turn crashes. On the east side, A1A and Spanish River Boulevard bring beach traffic into the mix.
Boca Raton Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health, is the city's emergency room and the right first stop for any head injury, loss of consciousness, chest pain, fracture or numbness in the arms or legs. For serious trauma, Delray Medical Center on Linton Boulevard is the area trauma center. We screen for head injury and concussion and refer them; we do not treat them. For the attorney reader, Boca Raton cases are filed in Palm Beach County, and the South County Courthouse in Delray Beach is the local venue. Records from this office, a Broward provider, work the same way in a Palm Beach case: a first-visit exam with orthopedic and neurological testing and range-of-motion measurements documented the same day, a treatment note on every visit, and one PDF on request.
Florida PIP is statewide. It pays 80% of reasonable medical expenses up to $10,000 if initial treatment begins within 14 days of the crash, in Boca Raton exactly as in Broward. Without an emergency medical condition (EMC) determination, the benefit is limited to $2,500. An EMC can only be determined by an MD, DO, PA or APRN, not by a chiropractor; this office refers patients out for that determination. A Boca driver hurt at Glades and I-95 who spends the first two weeks on phone calls with the insurer has spent the window. Chiropractic care is covered under section 627.736. This is general information, not legal advice. Dr. Carol McNamara-Krauss is a Florida-licensed chiropractic physician (DC), license CH5281.
Getting to 3320 N Federal Hwy #107
From downtown, Mizner Park or Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club: take Federal Highway south. You will pass Camino Real, cross the Hillsboro Canal into Deerfield Beach, pass Hillsboro Boulevard and then Sample Road. The 3320 building is on the left in Lighthouse Point, before Copans Road. About fifteen minutes.
From Boca Del Mar, Boca Pointe or the Glades Road side: take I-95 south to the Sample Road exit, go east on Sample Road across Dixie Highway to Federal Highway, and turn south. The building is on the left within a few blocks. From Boca West or Broken Sound, Yamato Road to I-95 south is the same route. Suite 107 is on the ground floor.

Car accident doctor for Boca Raton: questions
Does it matter that the office is in Broward County?
No. Florida PIP is set by state statute, section 627.736, and it works the same for a Boca Raton policyholder treated in Lighthouse Point as it would at an office on Glades Road. The office is a few minutes south of the county line on Federal Highway, fifteen minutes from Palmetto Park Road. Your case is still filed in Palm Beach County. This is general information, not legal advice.
Where is the nearest ER for a Boca crash?
Boca Raton Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health, is the city's emergency room and the right first stop for a head injury, loss of consciousness, chest pain, fracture or numbness. Delray Medical Center on Linton Boulevard is the area trauma center for serious crashes. Once cleared, come to us; the drive from either hospital is under twenty minutes by I-95 or Federal Highway.
How do I get there from Glades Road?
Take I-95 south from the Glades Road interchange to the Sample Road exit, go east on Sample across Dixie Highway to Federal Highway, and turn south. The 3320 building is on the left within a few blocks, before Copans Road. From downtown, Federal Highway south through Deerfield Beach is the direct route. Either way, plan on about fifteen minutes.
My attorney files in the South County Courthouse. Will your records work there?
Yes. Records go out as one PDF from a proprietary case documentation system built in consultation with personal injury attorneys, and they are used in Palm Beach County cases the same way as in Broward. The file includes the first-visit orthopedic and neurological testing, range-of-motion measurements and every treatment note. Narrative reports are available on request. Janelle Deal coordinates directly with your firm.
I was rear-ended on Federal Highway near Mizner Park. What is the first step?
Call (754) 342-6479 and book the same-day exam. Bring your license, insurance card and the crash report from Boca Raton police. Dr. McNamara-Krauss examines you, documents range of motion and orthopedic and neurological findings, and starts treatment the same visit. Janelle Deal opens the PIP claim. The 14-day window began on the crash date. This is general information, not legal advice.
Do you see patients from west Boca?
Yes. Boca Del Mar, Boca Pointe, Sandalfoot Cove and the Glades Road communities reach us by I-95 south to Sample Road, then east to Federal Highway. The drive is closer to twenty minutes from the far west side. If the distance is a problem for a multi-week plan, tell us at the first visit and we will plan visits around it. Saturday appointments are by request.
When should a Boca patient choose somewhere else?
Head injuries, concussion, fractures, lacerations and internal injuries go to Boca Raton Regional Hospital or Delray Medical Center first; we screen for head injury and refer. Emergency medical condition determinations require an MD, DO, PA or APRN, so we refer out. If you need a provider who makes EMC determinations in-house or an office inside Palm Beach County for personal reasons, that is a fair choice.
Injured on the road in Boca Raton? The 14-day clock is running.
Call (754) 342-6479, any hour, or send the short form. You will see Dr. McNamara-Krauss, not a rotating provider, and your first treatment happens the same visit.
