Dr. Carol McNamara-Krauss, DC, car accident doctor serving Coconut Creek, FL

Last updated September 2026 · Reviewed by Dr. Carol McNamara-Krauss, DC

A car accident doctor for Coconut Creek is fifteen minutes east on Sample Road. Car Accident Doctors Group, the accident-injury practice of Dr. Carol McNamara-Krauss, DC, is at 3320 N Federal Hwy #107 in Lighthouse Point, just south of where Sample Road meets US-1. From Wynmoor, The Township or Winston Park, the drive is one road: Sample Road east until it ends at Federal Highway.

Coconut Creek is a commuter city. Most residents drive Sample Road, Wiles Road or Hillsboro Boulevard to the Turnpike or I-95 every morning, and those interchanges are where they get hurt. The Wynmoor community adds a second group: retirees in low-speed crashes on Lyons Road and Coconut Creek Parkway who assume the soreness will pass. Both groups get a same-day exam here, treatment on the first visit and records built for an attorney. Dr. McNamara-Krauss has 30 years in practice. Call (754) 342-6479, answered 24/7.

Crash corridors, the nearest ER, and where the claim gets filed

Coconut Creek's crashes concentrate at the Turnpike interchange on Sample Road and at the big signals along Lyons Road: Sample, Wiles, Coconut Creek Parkway and Hillsboro Boulevard. The Sample Road stretch from Lyons Road east across the Turnpike ramps is a merge-and-brake sequence that produces rear-end collisions every day. Wiles Road between Lyons and State Road 7 carries school and retail traffic, and the driveway entrances there are the side-impact spots. Coconut Creek Parkway near the casino and the Promenade shopping district is slow, crowded and distracted. Wynmoor's internal roads and the Lyons Road gates are where the low-speed, parking-lot-style crashes happen; those still produce neck and back injuries that show up two or three days later.

The nearest emergency room for the east side of the city is Broward Health North on Sample Road at I-95, on your way to us; for the west side near Wiles Road and Riverside Drive, Broward Health Coral Springs is closer. Go to either first for any head injury, loss of consciousness, chest pain, fracture or numbness. We screen for head injury and concussion and refer them; we do not treat them here. For the attorney reader, Coconut Creek cases are filed in Broward County at the courthouse in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The initial exam here documents orthopedic and neurological testing and range-of-motion measurements the same day, treatment notes follow on every visit, and the file goes out as one PDF.

Florida PIP pays 80% of reasonable medical expenses up to $10,000 if initial treatment begins within 14 days of the crash. Without an emergency medical condition (EMC) determination, the benefit is limited to $2,500. An EMC can only be determined by an MD, DO, PA or APRN, not by a chiropractor, and this office refers patients out for that determination. A Wynmoor resident who was tapped from behind on Lyons Road and waits three weeks to mention the neck pain to a family member has lost the benefit entirely. Chiropractic care is covered under section 627.736. This is general information, not legal advice. Dr. Carol McNamara-Krauss is a Florida-licensed chiropractic physician (DC), license CH5281.

Getting to 3320 N Federal Hwy #107

From Wynmoor, The Township or Winston Park: take Lyons Road to Sample Road and go east. You will cross the Turnpike, Powerline Road, I-95 and Dixie Highway. At Federal Highway turn south. The 3320 building is on the left within a few blocks, before Copans Road. Suite 107 is on the ground floor. About fifteen minutes.

From Banyan Trails, Regency Lakes or the Hillsboro Boulevard side of the city: take Hillsboro Boulevard east to Federal Highway, turn south, pass Sample Road, and the building is on the left. From Centura Parc or Cocobay on the south end, Copans Road east to Federal Highway and then north is the shorter route.

Doctor is ALWAYS on time, never a wait. Quick, efficient, and Dawn and Vic are most kind, patient and professional. They go above and beyond just a well-organized visit at the Chiropractor. I have sent my clients to her and they are all very happy. They treat everyone like family, and always nail what we go in for. Highly recommend

Car accident doctor for Coconut Creek: questions

Is the office really one road away?

Yes. Sample Road runs from Lyons Road straight east past the Turnpike, I-95 and Dixie Highway and ends at Federal Highway. Turn south there and the 3320 building is on the left within a few blocks, before Copans Road. The drive takes about fifteen minutes in normal traffic. Suite 107 is on the ground floor with parking in front.

Which ER is closer, Broward Health North or Broward Health Coral Springs?

Broward Health North on Sample Road at I-95 is closer for the east side of the city, including Wynmoor and The Township, and it is on the way to our office. Broward Health Coral Springs is closer for the Wiles Road and Riverside Drive side. Either is the right first stop for a head injury, loss of consciousness, chest pain, fracture or numbness.

My father in Wynmoor was rear-ended at low speed. Does he need to be seen?

Yes, and within 14 days. Low-speed crashes at the Wynmoor gates and on Lyons Road produce whiplash and lower-back strain that appear two or three days later, and older patients often have prior degeneration that a new injury makes worse. The first visit documents range of motion and orthopedic and neurological findings so the change is on record. Saturday appointments are available by request.

I was hit at the Turnpike ramp on Sample Road. What should I bring?

Bring your driver license, your auto insurance card, the crash report or exchange slip from the Florida Highway Patrol or Coconut Creek police, and any ER paperwork. Janelle Deal, our Attorney-Patient Case Coordinator, opens the PIP claim from those. If you already have an attorney, bring the firm name and she will coordinate directly. This is general information, not legal advice.

Do you treat leg pain and tingling after a crash?

Yes. Leg symptoms after a rear-end collision usually trace to the lower back and are checked with neurological testing on the first visit. Treatment often uses spinal decompression on the Antalgic-Trac system along with electrical stimulation. Progressive weakness or loss of bladder control goes to Broward Health North first, not here. See nerve injuries.

How does the 14-day rule work if I saw urgent care first?

An urgent care visit within 14 days satisfies the initial-treatment requirement, and the clock does not restart. PIP then pays 80% of reasonable medical expenses up to $10,000 for continuing care, or $2,500 without an EMC determination from an MD, DO, PA or APRN. Bring the urgent care paperwork so it is in the file. This is general information, not legal advice.

What does this office not handle for a Coconut Creek patient?

Head injuries and concussion are screened and referred, not treated. Fractures, lacerations and internal injuries go to Broward Health North or Broward Health Coral Springs first. Emergency medical condition determinations require an MD, DO, PA or APRN, so we refer out for them. Shockwave therapy is never applied to the spine. Everything else in a Sample Road or Lyons Road crash is handled here.

Injured on the road in Coconut Creek? The 14-day clock is running.

Call (754) 342-6479, any hour, or send the short form. You will see Dr. McNamara-Krauss, not a rotating provider, and your first treatment happens the same visit.
